If you are here, it’s most likely because you’re feeling like you can barely keep your head above water, but you’re not quite sure what to do. My guess is you’ve tried a bunch of different things, but they’ve never really gotten to the root of why you’re feeling the way you are. If you want a life where you’re not just treading water, I’ve got you.
Hi, I’m Holly, and I am so grateful you are here! I am passionate about giving people the tools to move from surviving to thriving in life.
I am a U.S. Army Veteran, and at one time, I was suffering from PTSD so severe that I was unable to work and was declared disabled. I was incapacitated and unable to function. I was so depressed and reached a point where I couldn’t bear it anymore, and I tried to end my own life. As a result, I was hospitalized on several occasions and prescribed multiple medications that failed to work for me.
I felt stuck and hopeless. It was as though I had been caught in quicksand, and with each passing moment, I sank deeper into hopelessness. I was in survival mode and had been for 30 years without even realizing it.
Grief work was the catalyst to my healing, but I went on to discover several other modalities that helped me cope and allowed me to move forward. That was ten years ago, and it was only the beginning. I had a LOT more work to do, but I was finally unstuck, and there was a glimmer of hope. Some often say it’s like “seeing the light at the end of the tunnel”; something I wasn’t sure I’d ever see.
One of the most significant turning points in my journey was the discovery and integration of somatic (mind-body) therapies.
I went from hopeless and suicidal to happy, healthy, and thriving. I went from breakdown to breakthrough. I haven’t forgotten the trauma or the grief, but I have been able to move forward and build a life worth living.
And you can, too. Healing is possible. There is hope♥
